Scientific Method

We read a text and had to identity within the text the scientific method that they followed to carry out
this investigation. Here is my writing. 

What was their question?- What made the cork pop off the bottle.

How did they gather information and observe (research)- They watched the bottle cap pop off with
baking powder and a liquid. 

What was their hypothesis?  What made them think this? Their hypothesis was the baking powder had a
chemical reaction with the liquid. They thought this because that's what was in the bottle.   

How did they conduct their experiment and test the hypothesis?  (Make sure to explain how they made
sure their test was fair)- They tested both powders with water and one had a reaction. Then they tested
both powders with vinegar and the baking powder had the strongest reaction. 

Analyze your test results- Now they know that the baking powder and vinegar has the strongest reaction.   

What was their conclusion?- it had something to do with the bubbles. Also the baking powder and baking
soda have different chemicals in them.My conclusion. The bottle cap pop off because the baking powder
and vinegar both have acids in them and the two acids formed a gas that needed to escape so the cork
popped.
